WHO WE ARE
Karibia Hikers Housing Co-operative Society Limited (KHHCS Ltd) is a registered organisation by the Ministry of Cooperative movement in Kenya as of 30th of October 2018. Originally this was an embedded idea nurtured within the informal welfare groups for women i.e. ‘Financial Hikers’ and ‘Accountability Partners’, from which the current membership is drawn.
The objects for which the society is established are:
1. To provide for its members with living accommodation and livelihood within the area of its operation at a fair and reasonable price together with such ancillary services as roads, drainage, water and light.
2. To provide facilities for physical and cultural recreation and all such other matters as are usual, customary and desirous for building estates, blocks of flats or single dwellings.
